We choose three different bandwidths, namely B1=∞, B2=2.tx and B3=1.tx, where tx is the bit rate. First, we developed various synchronous prototypes. After, we developed various asynchronous prototypes. The synchronizer has two variants, which are the reference standard operating by both transitions at bit rate and the new proposal operating by positive transitions at quarter bit rate. Each variant has two versions, namely the manual and the automatic.
