Todos estes casos foram adquiridos e selecionados no decorrer do estágio curricular realizado na ótica Seeana Eyewear, em Aveiro. O primeiro caso aborda a avaliação realizada a uma possível suspeita de Glaucoma, onde foram explorados diversos métodos de diagnóstico. Por intermédio destes procedimentos foi possível identificar alguns sinais indicativos de uma suspeita de glaucoma. Este caso também permitiu realçar a importância do optometrista no processo de triagem, interpretação e respetivo referenciamento e encaminhamento dos pacientes portadores destas e de outras doenças. No que diz respeito ao caso de contatologia, este foca-se na adaptação de lentes de contacto RPG, em um paciente diagnosticado com queratocone. Foram analisados os passos para a adaptação da melhor lente de contacto por forma a otimizar o conforto e a acuidade visual do paciente. Por fim, no último caso clínico, discutimos uma disfunção binocular, a insuficiência de divergência. Foram exploradas técnicas de avaliação da fusão e da função binocular, e com a prescrição de prismas corrigiu-se o desalinhamento ocular e melhorou-se a visão binocular.The present report, titled "Suspected Glaucoma, RGP Contact Lens Adaptation in a Patient with Keratoconus and Divergence Insufficiency," addresses three clinical cases in the field of optometry. All of these cases were acquired and selected during the internship carried out at Seeana Eyewear, in Aveiro. The first case involves the evaluation of a suspected glaucoma, where various diagnostic methods were explored. Through these procedures, it was possible to identify some indicative signs of a suspected glaucoma. This case also highlighted the importance of the optometrist in the screening process, interpretation, and referral of patients with these other conditions. Regarding the contact lens case, it focuses on the adaptation of RGP (Rigid Gas Permeable) contact lenses in a patient diagnosed with keratoconus. The steps for adapting the best contact lens to optimize the patient's comfort and visual acuity were analyzed. Finally, in the last clinical case, we discuss binocular dysfunction, specifically Divergence Insufficiency (DI).
