Abstract(s)
Ao longo dos últimos tempos, o mercado tem vindo a tornar-se altamente competitivo,
conduzindo as organizações para um cenário dinâmico, onde a procura de soluções para
desafios constantes tem um peso determinante para que estas se consigam destacar e
permanecer ativas neste contexto empresarial.
Nesta circunstância, medir o desempenho tornou-se uma atividade vital para todos
aqueles que procuram sobreviver e progredir num mercado impulsionado pela rápida
evolução e concorrência acentuada. Desta forma, os indicadores chave de desempenho
(Key Performance Indicators - KPIs) têm vindo a desempenhar um papel crucial em
relação à monitorização e avaliação do desempenho organizacional, garantindo assim
que todos os esforços sejam direcionados para alcançar os objetivos a longo prazo e desta
forma seja atingido o sucesso.
Este relatório de estágio apresenta um caso de estudo focado na implementação de KPIs,
desenvolvido numa empresa do ramo automóvel designada ACI- Automotive
Compounding Industry, localizada na cidade da Guarda.
O presente trabalho teve assim como base a realização de inquéritos, responsáveis por
obter as perspetivas dos colaboradores de cada departamento das empresas do grupo,
que consequentemente conduziram à implementação de KPIs. Foram implementados 22
novos indicadores no grupo ACI, tendo sido implementados 8 novos indicadores no
departamento de Compras e Vendas, 3 no departamento da Logística, 2 no departamento
da Qualidade, 3 no departamento de Recursos Humanos, 4 no departamento de
Segurança e Saúde no Trabalho e 1 indicador nos departamentos de Investigação e
Desenvolvimento e Finanças respetivamente.
Para além disso, este trabalho apresenta ainda os painéis de visualização desenvolvidos
através da ferramenta Power BI, essenciais para a visualização, análise e interpretação
dos indicadores utilizados nas empresas do grupo. Adicionalmente, foram ainda
destacadas as funcionalidades que se espera que o sistema de execução de produção
(MES – Manufacturing Execution System) venha a desempenhar, tendo também sido
apresentados alguns requisitos que promovem a implementação bem sucedida deste tipo
de sistemas. Desta forma, a implementação de novos KPIs em alguns departamentos
acompanhados de um painel de visualização e do MES, irá proporcionar para o grupo
ACI, um acompanhamento contínuo do desempenho, possibilitando ao mesmo tempo
um maior controlo sobre as suas atividades. Este controlo permitirá assim que sejam
tomadas melhores decisões, conduzindo as empresas do grupo para um patamar mais
competitivo.
In recent times, the market has become highly competitive, leading organisations into a dynamic scenario where the search for solutions to constant challenges has a decisive influence on whether they can stand out and remain active in this business context. Under these circumstances, measuring performance has become a vital activity for all those seeking to survive and progress in a market driven by rapid evolution and fierce competition. In this way, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) have come to play a crucial role in monitoring and evaluating organisational performance, thus ensuring that all efforts are directed towards achieving long-term objectives and thus success. This internship report presents a case study focussed on the implementation of KPIs, developed in an automotive company called ACI- Automotive Compounding Industry, located in the city of Guarda. This work was based on carrying out surveys to obtain the perspectives of employees in each department of the group's companies, which consequently led to the implementation of KPIs. 22 new indicators were implemented in the ACI group, with 8 new indicators in the Purchasing and Sales department, 3 in the Logistics department, 2 in the Quality department, 3 in the Human Resources department, 4 in the Occupational Health and Safety department, and 1 indicator in the Research and Development and Finance departments respectively. In addition, this research work also presents the visualisation panels developed using the Power BI tool, which are essential for visualising, analysing, and interpreting the indicators used throughout the group's companies. In addition, the functionalities that Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is expected to fulfill were also highlighted, and some requirements that promote the successful implementation of this type of system were also presented. In this way, the implementation of new KPIs in some departments accompanied by a visualisation panel and the MES will provide the ACI group with continuous performance monitoring, while at the same time giving it greater control over its activities. This control will enable better decisions to be made, taking the group's companies to a more competitive level.
