Este relatório de estágio visa a obtenção do grau de mestre em Design de Moda pela
Universidade da Beira Interior. O estágio foi realizado com a marca belga SENNES e o
tema proposto consistia no desenvolvimento de uma coleção: one size fits all. O estágio
teve uma duração de 6 meses, localizado no atelier da marca em Santa Bárbara de Nexe,
no Algarve.
A escolha do estágio surge com o objetivo de ganhar alguma experiência profissional.
Para além disso, este estágio permitiu à aluna aprimorar as competências adquiridas ao
longo do seu percurso académico, ao mesmo tempo que permitiu colocar em prática
conhecimentos específicos e contribuir com a empresa.
Com o tema escolhido, foram produzidas 9 peças, todas com modelagem oversize, às
quais foram incorporados elementos de ajustamento, de forma a garantir a versatilidade
no encaixe de uma ampla variedade de tamanhos, desde o 32 ao 48. Este tema surge para
que cada uma das mulheres se sintam incluídas na marca SENNES. Marca esta que
trabalha com qualquer mulher, dependendo da idade, da altura e do tamanho. O desafio
de um único tamanho vestir diferentes corpos baseia-se na ideia de inclusão,
especialmente para mulheres que não se enquadram nos padrões convencionais. Este
tipo de modelagem, inspirado principalmente no vestuário asiático, permite que as peças
consigam vestir mulheres plus size, que, devido às suas medidas, encontram maiores
dificuldades em encontrar roupas adequadas no mercado, devido à sua escassez.
This internship report aims for the attainment of a Master's degree in Fashion Design from the University of Beira Interior. The internship was carried out with the Belgian brand SENNES, and the proposed theme was the development of a "one size fits all" collection. The internship lasted for 6 months and took place at the brand's atelier in Santa Bárbara de Nexe, Algarve. The choice of the internship was motivated by the goal of gaining professional experience. Furthermore, this internship allowed the student to refine the skills acquired throughout her academic journey, while also putting specific knowledge into practice and contributing to the company. With the chosen theme, 9 pieces were produced, all featuring an oversized design, with adjustment elements incorporated to ensure versatility in fitting a wide range of sizes, from 32 to 48. This theme aims to ensure that every woman feels included in the SENNES brand. This brand works with women of all ages, heights, and sizes. The challenge of creating one-size-fitsall pieces that fit different bodies is based on the idea of inclusion, especially for women who do not fit conventional standards. This type of design, mainly inspired by Asian clothing, enables the pieces to fit plus-size women, who often face difficulties in finding suitable clothing due to its scarcity in the market.
