Abstract(s)
A consciência humana sofreu transformações durante a história do Homem.
suporta física e ideologicamente, as três maiores religiões monoteístas no mundo: o Judaísmo, o
Cristianismo e o Islamismo.
Human consciousness has undergone changes during the history of Men. Today, there is urgency towards Humanity, as it manifests an increasing individuality and polarity and tends to be more extreme with regard to others free will and consequently to all of us. Globality has brought us closer, however, it raised an increasing intolerance in the society in which we operate. In contemporaneity, religious intolerance might be eradicated with religious pluralism, so that, in community, society welcomes different religious beliefs. All the principles of a multicultural, multireligious coexistence and any similarity or even dissimilarity, can foster what denotes individual (s) as a whole, in a societal union, in its structure, organization and function. Ecumenism emerges as a unifier of different beliefs, with the intention of demystifying some of the stereotypes constructed by Men. The theoretical component of the present dissertation, circumscribes a historical reflection of each of the Abrahamic religions, an analysis of intrinsic concepts and ideologies to Men and transversal research to several fields, from anthropology to philosophy, related to religious architecture and its evolution over time. The present dissertation is motto for the possibility of benefiting, in a near future, from a human concomitance, by promoting and contributing to the resolution of social contexts with neglected support, aiming for unity and cooperation between communities. In this sense, a preliminary study of an ecumenical building is proposed, which physically and ideologically supports the three largest monotheistic religions in the world: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Regardless of their belief, each individual will be able to enjoy their own space of prayer/contemplation, as well as to interact with other doctrines, to learn and be educated in relation to other faiths in common spaces, enabling bonds in the community and/or outside of it.
