It is characterized by the growth of excessive endometrial tissue inside and outside the uterus. This condition has been extensively studied as it is identified as one of the main causes of infertility, particularly recurrent miscarriages. This work aims to explore the relationship between endometriosis and recurrent miscarriages, review the current knowledge on this topic, and draw a conclusion about the connection between these two situations and their possible treatment. The literature review will be based on scientific articles published in PubMed and SciELO, as well as portals of the most relevant English-language scientific societies in obstetrics and gynecology.
