| dc.description.abstract | Este estudo tem como principal objectivo apresentar a relação directa existente entre o vestuário e a semiótica, na tentativa de encontrar a forma como o vestuário comunica com o utilizador e principalmente com o espectador, e como essa mesma comunicação se tem tornado cada vez mais frágil e de difícil leitura. Uma das problemáticas que surgiu na abordagem deste tema foi a nível da ambiguidade da linguagem visual do vestuário e da veracidade da informação que transmite. Aliado a essa problemática, temos o fenómeno da globalização, que dificulta de forma significativa, todo o processo de comunicação do vestuário. Ainda que a possibilidade de aferir informação precisa acerca alguém através da mera observação das roupas utilizadas possa nem sempre ter sido simples, actualmente, com a globalização, tal fonte de conhecimento tem-se vindo a tornar cada vez menos fiável. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | This study's main purpose is to make the direct link between clothing and semiotics, trying to find how the clothing communicates with the user and especially with the viewer, and how that same communication has become increasingly fragile and difficult to read. One of the problems that arose in tackling this issue was the level of ambiguity in the visual language of clothing and the accuracy of the information it conveys. Allied to this problem, we have the phenomenon of globalization, which significantly complicates the whole process of communication clothing. Although the possibility of measuring accurate information about someone by mere observation of the clothes used may not always have been easy, now, with globalization, such a source of knowledge has been become increasingly less reliable. | |
