Com o passar do tempo, o planeta sofre constantes transformações provocadas pelo ser humano. Esta realidade, se não for mudada, poderá trazer consequências drásticas à nossa vida.
Uma das maiores áreas, que provoca a destruição do planeta, é a área da construção civil. No entanto, a arquitetura poderá ser pensada de forma a desacelerar este processo. Isto poderá ser feito utilizando métodos e materiais na construção e reabilitação que não comprometam o futuro.
A arquitetura vernacular deve ser uma referência à sustentabilidade, que hoje os edifícios procuram. Este tipo de arquitetura, atualmente em desuso, oferecia ao utilizador conforto sem a necessidade de implementação de equipamentos prejudiciais ao ambiente. Em contrapartida a arquitetura vernacular obriga a uma atenção, disponibilidade e conhecimento por parte do utilizador, para que o edifício funcione de forma eficiente. A falta de tempo que atualmente vemos na sociedade não se ajusta com a arquitetura vernacular.
A arquitetura inteligente é uma inteligência artificial aplicada na construção civil que substituiu o ser humano em tarefas fundamentais do edifício. Esta tecnologia corresponde com a atualidade à falta de tempo.
O cruzamento da arquitetura vernacular com a arquitetura inteligente, possibilita a aplicação de métodos e materiais vernaculares na atualidade, sem que as rotinas do utilizador sejam alteradas.
Assim, é possível assegurar a sustentabilidade do edifício e o conforto do utilizador. Entende-se que se trate de uma atitude responsável que contribua para o futuro do planeta e das próximas gerações.
Over the time, the planet undergoes constant transformations caused by human beings. This reality, if not changed, could have drastic consequences for our lives. One of the largest areas that causes the destruction of the planet is the area of construction. However, architecture can be designed to slow down this process. This can be done using methods and materials in construction and rehabilitation that do not compromise the future. Vernacular architecture should be a reference to the sustainability that buildings today seek. This type of architecture, currently in disuse, offered the user comfort without the need to implement environmentally harmful equipment. In contrast, vernacular architecture requires user attention, availability and knowledge to make the building work efficiently. The lack of time we currently see in society does not fit in with the vernacular architecture. Intelligent architecture is an artificial intelligence applied in construction that has replaced the human being in fundamental building tasks. This technology corresponds today to the lack of time. The intersection of vernacular architecture with intelligent architecture makes it possible to apply vernacular methods and materials today without changing user routines. This ensures the building's sustainability and user comfort. It is understood that this is a responsible attitude that contributes to the future of the planet and the next generations.
