Abstract(s)
O objectivo primordial desta investigação é a concepção e desenvolvimento de um
Equipamento de Protecção Individual (EPI), constituído por um conjunto completo de
vestuário.
A investigação direccionar-se-á primordialmente para os materiais, para o design e para a
promoção de multifuncionalidades com vista a minimizar os riscos decorrentes da sua
actividade profissional.
Em simultâneo, e de forma a contribuir para uma estratégia global de dignificação desta
profissão, será realizado um inquérito onde serão identificados os riscos inerentes a esta
profissão com o objectivo de se definirem campos prioritários de acção e respectivas medidas
preventivas e/ou de eliminação de riscos.
A compilação e tratamento desta informação servirá para fornecer inputs importantes e
orientar as inovações ao nível conceptual, permitindo desenvolver um EPI com imagem
corporativa e estética, desenho ergonómico, facilidade de vestir/despir, flexibilidade e
liberdade de movimentos, respirável, e fundamentalmente, com elevada protecção face ao
risco biológico.
The main goal of this investigation is the conception and development of a global Individual Protection Equipment. The investigation will be directly oriented for new materials, new design and the promotion of multifunctionalities in order to minimize the decurrently risks of the professional activity. Simultaneously, we will define a global strategy of empowerment of this profession. For this purpose an inquiry will be carried out in order to identify the inherent risks of this job, and delineate priority fields of action/investigation to eliminate or minimize injury risks and promote a safety and comfortable work uniform. The compilation and treatment of this information will serve to supply important inputs to guide innovations at the conceptual level, allowing the developing of an EPI with corporative and aesthetic image, ergonomic design, easiness to dress/undress, flexibility and freedom of movements, breathability, and fundamentally, with raised protection to prevent biological risk.
