Abstract(s)
movimento Do It Yourself (DIY).
referidos.
In this work the following themes will be investigated: pink color, punk and reuse / sustainability. It is intended to highlight the importance of reusing materials in the fashion world in order to combat the waste and massification of products. This idea arises from punk inspiration, as a way of reusing and changing pieces of clothing by their own means. Thus, the desire to build a new collection arises, having as inspiration all the themes described above. For this to happen, it is necessary to have a parallel between the sustainable and one of the current trends: pink. It is important to understand, also, the contextualization of the color pink, in our day; as well as how important it has been acquiring over the years, and how much its connotation has changed. In this study we will notice how the pink binds directly to the punk movement, and that this subculture appropriates several existing materials and materials, while the inspiration of the collection will start from these three principles of study. Punk arises in this study as a motto of research, in order to be understood the culture of reuse and sustainability, from the Do It Yourself (DIY) movement. To try to explain the link between the three strands, a bibliographic review is proposed that goes beyond the common nature of scientific research, and which brings together books, articles and other scientific documents with information obtained through films, series, documentaries, works of art, etc... This need to go beyond a common literature review is related to the fact that studies and data are necessary to corroborate the reality of waste and reuse of clothing. In addition, a new look at pink and punk also occurs, because it is important to convey the connection between these themes in a deeper and different way from preconceived ideas. In short, the themes of research and inspiration will be developed in order to create solid foundations that will be materialized in a final collection, which includes all the parameters mentioned above.
