| dc.description.abstract | Ansiães, terra de batalhas, marco histórico com enorme importância no desenvolvimento e defesa de Portugal. Tamanha importância está, também, marcada por dias mais negros. Dias de ruínas e destruição provenientes de saques e desinteresse por parte de mentes marginais que procuravam satisfazer a ambição vandalizando o local. Felizmente, houve solução - a reconstrução - para que Ansiães pudesse continuar a existir e a satisfazer o intelecto e o imaginário dos que a visitam e voltar a contar as suas histórias de tempos antigos, nos quais Portugal ainda não tinha nome. Numa vontade incessante de ouvir e experienciar essas histórias, aliada a um pensamento que se desenvolve no subconsciente de uma criança com vontade de viver a época medieval, a vontade torna-se consciente e surge a questão “como resolver?”, que, mais tarde, formula o conceito. Primeiramente recorre-se à inspiração, ao aspeto sensorial, às motivações. Surgem imagens das paisagens que abrangem o local, do pôr-do-sol de Verão, da frescura da sombra das árvores, do cheiro característico, do impacto que as texturas rugosas, derivadas das pedras dos edifícios, da muralha e das ruínas ainda existentes configuram no local. De seguida, a vontade. A vontade de estar. A vontade de voltar. A vontade de viver, nem que seja por uns dias, no local e pernoitar. No fundo, a relação afetiva e emocional com o sítio e com o que ele poderia significar. Tudo isto motivou a proposta. Da motivação, surge a intenção e esta leva o autor a questionar à Arquitetura se esta lhe confere os conhecimentos necessários para resolver o problema ao qual se está a propor. Para isso, necessita de recorrer à mesma e ao carácter que esta pode conferir ao local de intervenção, para tentar perceber se será plausível ou se nunca passará de um devaneio. Em seguida houve que resolver questões práticas – metodologias de trabalho e sistemas de construção. Para isso, há uma investigação de práticas sustentáveis de construção. A paisagem e a envolvente são os principais focos desta narrativa. A proposta é pensada para a fruição do local, fortemente motivada por todas as sensações que o autor experienciou no processo de descoberta de Ansiães. É uma solução baseada na utopia, nunca descuidada de realismo. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Ansiães, land of battles, historical landmark with huge importance in the development and defense of Portugal. Such importance is also marked by darker days. Days of ruins and destruction from looting and disinterest on the part of marginal minds in search of ways to satisfy the ambition by vandalizing the place. Fortunately, there was a solution - the reconstruction - so that Ansiães could continue to thrive and satisfy the intellect and imagination of those who visit it and return to telling its stories of ancient times, in which Portugal still had no name. In an incessant desire to hear and experience these stories, combined with a thought that resided in the subconscious of a child wanting to live in medieval times, the will becomes conscious and the question "how to solve?" emerges and later formulates the concept. Firstly, calling upon inspiration, sensory aspect, and motivations. Images of landscapes which cover the place emerge, the summer sunset, the freshness provided by the trees’ shades, the characteristic smell, the impact that the rough textures of the stones of the buildings, wall and the still existing ruins reflect on the site. Then, the will. The will of staying. The will of returning. The will of living the experience, even for a few days, in the place and to stay overnight. Deep down, the affective and emotional relationship with the site and the meaning that it could have. All of this motivated this proposal. From the motivation, intention arises and leads the author to question Architecture if it provides him with the necessary knowledge to solve the problem he is proposing. For that, he needs to call upon Architecture and the character that it can give to the site, to try to understand if it will be plausible or if it will never go beyond a daydream. Next there were practical questions to be solved – work methodologies and construction systems. For these, there was an investigation of sustainable practises of construction. The landscape and the surroundings of the site are the main focus of this narrative. The proposal is designed for the enjoyment of the place, strongly motivated by all the sensations which the author experienced throughout the process of discovering Ansiães. This is a solution based on Utopia, but never neglecting the reality. | eng |
