Abstract(s)
The research carried out aims to contribute to the reduction of the risk associated with the aircraft in low-level fire operations and, simultaneously to improve the efficiency of the operation in the initial attack against forest fires. During firefighting operations, there are incidents and accidents mainly caused by impacts on cables or ground during low-altitude operations. In most of these cases, the risks are invisible to the pilot, without being aware of the location or presence of danger. Not only are these problems present, but pilots also face a lack of knowledge about the location of safe and accessible water collection points, rendering the operation less efficient during the initial attack, which is a critical step in preventing development and fire progression. The research will be divided into three phases, the first phase being a phase of collecting data about forest fires and the operationality of the aircrafts. In the second phase, an evaluation and choice of the case study will be carried out in order to implement the proposed application for the detection of the energy lines described in phase three. A database is then created with all the lines of very high voltage and high voltage of the site and created the application for a greater security of the means to operate in the terrain.
