Capítulo 1.
O presente documento enquadra-se na unidade curricular de Estágio Pedagógico, pertencente ao último ano do Mestrado em Ensino de Educação Física nos Ensinos Básico e Secundário, do Departamento de Ciências do Desporto, da Universidade da Beira Interior. Este Estágio Pedagógico decorreu na Escola Básica dos 2º e 3º Ciclos do Teixoso, sob orientação do Professor Doutor Júlio Martins (através do Departamento de Ciências do Desporto da Universidade da Beira Interior) e da Professora Ana Paula Pereira (pela Escola Básica dos 2º e 3º Ciclos do Teixoso).
O principal objectivo deste estágio é de habilitar o aluno a desempenhar qualquer função como professor de Educação Física em contexto escolar. Ao longo deste ano lectivo foi possível participar em inúmeras actividades que vão ao encontro do objectivo supramencionado. Entre elas destacam-se a Leccionação, Desporto Escolar, Desporto Adaptado, Tutoria, Projecto Pró-Lúdico e Actividades Extra-Curriculares.
No final do presente Estágio Pedagógico sinto-me capaz de integrar e desempenhar qualquer função de um Professor de Educação Física.
Capítulo 2.
O Projecto Pró-Lúdico é uma ferramenta recente criada para combater o galopante aumento da obesidade infantil. Identificaram-se 47 alunos (5º, 6º e 7º anos), de uma escola do concelho da Covilhã (Castelo Branco, Portugal), como estando em excesso de peso e/ou obesidade. Destes, apenas 6 foram autorizados, pelos encarregados de educação, a integrar o programa de actividade com uma duração de 12 semanas (sessões bissemanais, com uma hora de duração cada), privilegiando intensidades moderadas e vigorosas predominantemente aeróbias, com o objectivo de melhorar as variáveis antropométricas e capacidade aeróbia. Entre os principais resultados, intragrupo experimental, destaca-se a melhoria de 5 dos 6 sujeitos, em todas as variáveis em estudo. Quando comparado com o grupo de controlo, os resultados foram significativos (inferiores a 0,05) ao ponto de se poder afirmar que o programa melhorou a composição corporal.
Chapter 1. The present document is fit in the course unit of Pedagogical Internship, belonging to the last year of the 2 nd Cycle Degree in Teaching of Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Educations, of the Department of Sport Sciences, of the University of the Beira Interior. This Pedagogical Internship elapsed in the Basic School of 2º and 3º Cycles of Teixoso, under orientation of the Prof. Júlio Martins, Ph.D. (through the Department of Sport Sciences of the University the Beira Interior) and of the Dr. Ana Paula Pereira (for the Basic School of 2º and 3º Cycles of Teixoso). The main objective of this Pedagogical Internship is to qualify the pupil to play any function as Physical Education Teacher in schools. Throughout this school year it was possible to participate in innumerable activities that go to the meeting of the supramentioned objective. Among them they are distinguished it Teaching, School Sports, Adapted Sport, Tutoring, “Pró-lúdico” Project and Extra-Curricular Activities. In the end of the present Pedagogical Internship I feel myself capable to integrate and to play any function of Physical Education Teacher. Chapter 2. The “Pró-Lúdico” project is a recent tool created to fight the exponential rise in childhood obesity. 47 Students (attending the 5th, 6th and 7th schooling years), from a Covilhã school, were identified as being in a state of overweight or even obesity. From this group of students only 6 of them were authorized to take part in the program of activities lasting 12 weeks (biweekly sessions, lasting one hour each). The activities were essentially related with moderated and vigorous intensities of mainly aerobic exercises. The main goal of the project was to improve the anthropometric variables and the aerobic capacity of the students. The chief result was the improvement, concerning all the variables of the study, in 5 of the 6 students. The results were substantial (inferior to 0,05) when compared with the control group, so it can be stated that the program improved the overall body composition.
