Abstract(s)
amostra foi constituída por dez pilotos (28,10±7,53 anos;74,60±9,70 kg;176,50±7,18
cm;23,88±2,18 IMC) das classes Mx Elite e Mx Hobby, participantes no Regional
Pentacontrol Mx.
Motocross is a form of off-road motor sports, played on terrain hard land or sand, with various obstacles along the track. The present paper investigated differences in responses of internal load and external load in different classes and in circuits of different tipology. The sample consisted of ten pilots (28.10±7.53 years;74,60±9,70 kg;176,50±7,18 cm;23,88±2,18 IMC) from Mx Elite and Mx Hobby classes, participants in the Regional Pentacontrol Mx. The participants were evaluated during timed training on two different circuits, with distances of 1600 meters and with 250cc and 450cc two-stroke and four-stroke motorcycles. We analyzed indicators of internal load (heart rate, subjective perception of effort and lactate) and external load (speed, accelerations, decelerations and impacts). The results reveal a tendency for higher internal load responses in the Mx Hobby class compared to the Mx Elite class. Regarding the external load responses, the Mx Hobby class presents higher values for maximum and average speed, while the Mx Elite class registers higher values for accelerations and decelerations. In the comparison made between circuits, a trend towards higher values of internal load for both classes was identified on circuit 1, with the exception of heart rate in the Mx Hobby class where higher values were found on circuit 2. Regarding the external load, circuit 2 seems to induce higher responses in all the variables analyzed with the exception of impacts in both classes.
