Abstract(s)
O objetivo do presente estudo de investigação é analisar como o conceito de Biophilia
se correlaciona à Arquitetura contemporânea tendo em consideração o maior número
de variáveis, tais como, o papel da Arquitetura numa escala micro e macro, fatores
psicológicos, fatores sociais e indicadores/fatores ambientais. Neste contexto, o estudo
realizado tem em consideração todas as ciências que são inerentes ao exercício da
profissão.
A relação do ser humano com a natureza é crucial e inata, como tal, é imperativo que a
Arquitetura e o seu papel na sociedade potencializem esta conexão/simbiose de forma a
enriquecer a conexão psíquica do sujeito com o ambiente biofílico. Para tal, irá ser
desenvolvido uma estrutura de unidades de registo global, que permita adaptabilidade
consoante o ambiente local no qual será aplicado o projeto biofílico.
Resultante do material analítico obtido, não é somente o conceito limitativo em estudo,
mas a forma científica e eficaz da sua utilização na criação de um ambiente biofílico, e a
arte de expressar a criatividade do arquiteto enquanto agente de mudança. Enquanto
arquiteto biofílico é de extrema relevância um aprofundar das várias valências
científicas estudadas até ao momento presente.
Com todas as informações o arquiteto deve então reunir uma equipa de especialistas
que ajudem a realizar um desenho informado. Atualmente, não só o conceito se
encontra em análise, mas a forma criativa, e o espelhar das funções teórico-práticas do
papel de um arquiteto.
The objective of the present research study is to analyse how the concept of Biophilia correlates with contemporary architecture, taking into consideration the greatest number of variables, such as the role of architecture on both a micro and macro scale, psychological factors, social factors, and environmental indicators/factors. In this context, the study considers all the sciences inherent to the practice of the profession. The relationship between human beings and nature is crucial and innate; as such, it is imperative that architecture and its role in society enhance this connection/symbiosis in order to enrich the subject's psychological connection with the biophilic environment. To this end, a structure of global recording units will be developed, allowing adaptability according to the local environment in which the biophilic project will be implemented. Based on the analytical material obtained, the study does not merely focus on the limiting concept itself but also on the scientific and effective manner of its application in the creation of a biophilic environment, as well as the art of expressing the architect’s creativity as an agent of change. For a biophilic architect, further exploration of the various scientific disciplines studied thus far is of utmost relevance. With all the gathered information, the architect must then assemble a team of specialists to aid in the development of an informed design. At present, it is not only the concept that is under analysis but also the creative approach and the reflection of the theoretical and practical functions of the architect’s role.
