Abstract(s)
O presente relatório encontra-se dividido em dois capítulos, um referente à investigação e outro relativo ao estágio em farmácia comunitária, respeitantes a duas das vertentes profissionalizantes no âmbito do Mestrado Integrado em Ciências Farmacêuticas.
No primeiro capítulo são descritas as atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio em farmácia comunitária, realizado na Farmácia Silva e Damião, em Vilarinho. Com o objetivo de cimentar e aprofundar os conhecimentos adquiridos durante o percurso académico curricular, este permitiu-me compreender e executar múltiplas tarefas, passando pelo armazenamento e aprovisionamento, receituário, contacto com fornecedores, atendimento e aconselhamento, para um exercício da profissão com toda a qualidade e rigor.
O segundo capítulo refere-se à investigação desenvolvida no âmbito da segurança/qualidade dos cuidados de saúde sobre os erros de medicação. Hoje, estes assumem um papel preponderante uma vez que os medicamentos são o recurso terapêutico mais utilizado mundialmente, pelo que é imprescindível que todas as etapas envolvidas assentem em princípios éticos e de responsabilidade, tanto social como económica.
This report is divided in two chapters, one that relates to research and the other one to the training in community pharmacy, concerning two aspects of professional experience within the MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The first chapter describes the activities developed during the training in community pharmacy, at Farmácia Silvia e Damião, in Vilarinho. Aiming to cement and deepen the knowledge acquired during the academic course curriculum, this allowed me to understand and perform multiple tasks, through storage and supply, prescription, contact with suppliers, care and counseling which will be fundamental for the future pharmaceutical practice with both quality and accuracy. The second chapter refers to the research carried out in the field of safety/quality of health care on medication errors. Today, they assume a leading role since the drugs are the therapeutic resource most used worldwide, so it is imperative that all steps involved are based on ethical principles and responsibility, both social and economic.
