Abstract(s)
Habitar o Lugar: Habitação unifamiliar em Silvares, surge do interesse pela realização
de um exercício teórico-prático, autoproposto, de projeto. Como tal, o objeto que nos
propusemos estudar, partiu de um lugar que é propriedade da minha família, que
consiste numa propriedade agrícola situada na freguesia de Silvares, concelho de
Lousada e distrito do Porto. Neste lugar pretende-se estabelecer um habitar, articulando
o programa da casa, com o programa de exploração agrícola.
Com o objetivo de valorizar a arquitetura como um processo de relação e conceção de
um lugar, o presente estudo procura evidenciar a influência que as características deste
lugar podem, e devem exercer sobre o processo de projeto. Ao mesmo tempo, procurase entender a influência que o carácter da arquitetura adquire na construção do espírito
de um lugar e da sua paisagem envolvente.
Este estudo divide-se em três momentos. Parte de uma reflexão teórica e filosófica,
porventura mais subjetiva, apelando à exploração de alguns conceitos que são para
nós, primordiais na abordagem deste contexto, procurando estabelecer uma relação
entre a arquitetura, o lugar e o ser humano. Num segundo momento é estabelecida uma
análise ao contexto do lugar, onde expomos a forma como o nosso cliente, expõe os
seus hábitos de vida, anseios, vontades, e principalmente, necessidades, com o intuito
de definir um programa adequado. Ainda neste ponto, procuramos analisar o local de
intervenção, e a sua envolvente, buscando uma definição e caracterização do lugar,
com vista à sua adequação tipológica e morfológica onde implantamos a proposta.
Por último, abordamos os aspetos intervenientes e as diversas etapas do processo
criativo, a fim de determinar as relações e referências estabelecidas, procurando a
inserção de um novo corpo, que procura uma conexão harmoniosa entre o conjunto
edificado, o lugar, a envolvente e os agentes experienciadores do espaço.
Habitar o Lugar: Habitação unifamiliar em Silvares, arises from the interest in carrying out a theoretical and practical exercise, self-proposed, of a project. As such, the object we set out to study, came from a place that is owned by my family, which consists of an agricultural property located in the parish of Silvares, municipality of Lousada and district of Porto. In this place it is intended to establish a dwelling, articulating the program of the house, with the program of agricultural exploration. With the aim of valuing architecture as a process of relating and designing a place, the present study seeks to highlight the influence that the characteristics of this place can, and should have on the design process. At the same time, it seeks to understand the influence that the character of architecture acquires in the construction of the spirit of a place and its surrounding landscape. This study is divided into three stages. It starts from a theoretical and philosophical reflection, perhaps more subjective, calling for the exploration of some concepts that are essential for us to approach this context, seeking to establish a relationship between architecture, place and the human being. In a second step, an analysis of the context of the place is established, where we expose the way our client exposes his life habits, desires, wants, and especially, needs, in order to define an appropriate program. Still at this point, we seek to analyze the place of intervention, and its surroundings, seeking a definition and characterization of the place, with a view to its typological and morphological adequacy where we implemented the proposal. Finally, we address the intervening aspects and the different stages of the creative process, in order to determine the relationships and established references, looking for the insertion of a new body, which seeks a harmonious connection between the built set, the place, the surroundings and the space experience agents.
