Abstract(s)
Currently, there are several problems in the political context in which applied ethics has an elementary role. One of the ramifications of applied ethics is public ethics, which provides us with the mechanisms for social harmony. Analyzing the ethical systems proposed by Aristotle, John Start Mill and Immanuel Kant, the wealth of elements that each understands is remarkable. Our work, firstly, embodies the theorizing of a normative ethical model that establishes a link between the systems of the aforementioned philosophers. And in a second moment, in the analysis of the applied ethics models proposed by Max Weber and Adela Cortina. Finally, through a confluence between the ethic of responsibility by Weber's and the dialogical ethic by Cortina, we started to theorize and analyze a practical case where we confirmed the importance of the notion of responsibility and justice. This dissertation meets the justification of public ethics in the political context, in a space and time in which the urge for greater tolerance and respect is a fundamental point in a pluralistic society.
