Abstract(s)
Na dissertação é analisada a evolução do turismo em Portugal e os eventuais impactos dos fundos comunitários na procura do turismo nacional, bem como o estudo da carência atual da Cidade da Covilhã, entre outros aspetos importantes para o desenvolvimento da concessão do projeto.
Ao longo dos últimos anos em Portugal têm-se observado um elevado volume de investimentos
públicos e privados voltados para a atividade turística. Dentro desse contexto, têm-se destacado os investimentos relacionados à implantação de empreendimentos de grande dimensão que incluem o componente hoteleiro, além de equipamentos de eventos e diversificada infraestrutura de lazer. Estes empreendimentos serão chamados, neste trabalho, de Complexos Turísticos (CT).
Este trabalho traça ainda um breve diagnóstico do desenvolvimento do turismo em Portugal, identificando as principais características deste mercado e apontando alguns dos possíveis impactos e consequências.
The dissertation aims to analyze the evolution of tourism in Portugal and eventual impacts of EU funds in search of Portuguese tourism. Over the past few years in Portugal have been observed a high volume of public and private investments geared to tourism. Within this context, have highlighted the investments related to the deployment of large scale enterprises that contain the hotel component, and equipment of diverse events and leisure infrastructure. These developments will be called in this job Tourist Complexes (CT). This paper outlines a brief and updated diagnosis of the development of tourism in Portugal, identifying the main characteristics of this market and suggesting some of the possible impacts and consequences. The dissertation is divided by chapters, all theoretically substantiated and accompanying illustrations where necessary, each being briefly explained after. [2 lin
