Abstract(s)
equipas técnicas visando melhorar a eficácia e eficiência do remate no futebol.
This document was developed as part of the internship of the 2nd cycle of studies in Sports Science, in the area of Sports Training, by the University of Beira Interior. The aim of this document is to show what was done and experienced during the 2020/2021 sports season, both in terms of the internship and the research developed. The internship was done at Sporting Clube da Covilhã, where I was a member of the technical staff of the “Senior B” team that participated in the Castelo Branco Football Association Senior District Championship. There, I held the role of assistant coach, helping mainly in the planning and execution of training and matches, as well as in the analysis and statistics of the games. In the first part, we introduce and contextualize the entity, as well as the work the team has developed over the course of the season and the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on the internship. We then present the research work about systematic review of literature on shooting in football. We found that studies and interest in this area began to increase with the great demand for factors that influence shooting, especially the technical and physiological ones. However, studies on the influence of the tactical aspects, the training context and the psychological factors contributing to the improvement of skills and shooting evaluation tests are still very scarce. In this context, lower limb biomechanics, fatigue resistance, quality and contact area of the shooting foot with the ball, run-up and context have been considered as the most important aspects that influence speed and accuracy, which seem to be the most important factors for shooting execution and success. In this way, we’ve identified the factors and aspects that are considered in the literature to be particularly relevant to football shooting and that may be useful for the intervention of coaches and their technical teams to improve the success of this action.
