Abstract(s)
Communication was always an important factor in society. Our ancestors tried to find ways to communicate between them. Draw in caves, invented different forms of writing, developed writing supports. The concern in the information store is not only a thing of modern times, even our ancestors concerns how to do it. It was thus that we began to think in a place where everything was properly packaged and organized. We are come at libraries, not as we know them today but with the same function. The society where we are included is in a constant search for the information. To cope with this constant search, libraries were modernizing, not being rooms full of dusty books. Today we found side by side books, newspapers, magazines, DVD 's, CD 's, computers. The library is no longer a closed room where the books are treasures, the library is full of life, with nice, comfortable spaces and invite us to spend a good part of our time. With all the development in libraries, schools also began thinking this reality as something beneficial to the development of school and of the children, because in some cases there isn‟t a library near the school. This new truth brought to school library a prominent place within the school. For greater pivoting came the Teacher Librarian that make connection with the other teachers of the school. School libraries have the function to capture readers and train them to continue to be library goers throughout their lives. The curricula have guidelines for school library to be used, something that is not always possible, since we know that despite the willingness to have a suitably equipped school library and up-to-date is not yet a fact in all schools. The analysis made to two distinct stories shows that it is not always necessary very elaborate and complicated activities that demoralize teachers and students to attend their school library. With all the small activities the library is constantly growing and the motivation for their use is kept.
