Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação compreende o estudo e proposta de recuperação de uma quinta de
lavrador para centro de artes e ofícios da madeira na freguesia de Sobrosa, concelho de Paredes.
Em suma procura a análise de um objeto arquitetónico quanto ao seu carácter socio- cultural,
histórico e arquitetónico, analisando ainda o contexto legislativo em vigor aplicável à
conservação e valorização do património arquitetónico.
Em complemento a estas matérias, o estudo do enquadramento sociocultural e económico do
território permite uma proposta de atribuição de uma nova função ao edifício, através da sua
recuperação e complementação volumétrica, criando um programa de formação com ênfase nas
artes e ofícios locais que possuirão oficinas de trabalho onde os alunos poderão concretizar os
seus projetos, procurando assim amenizar os números do desemprego jovem através da promoção
de empregos próprios ou do desenvolvimento de projetos com base em ofícios tradicionais que
possam ter lugar nos mercados atuais. Destas matérias nasce um novo espaço complementar ao
edifício, parte de um conjunto uniforme, que funciona em harmonia programática e formal e que
se enquadra nas necessidades existentes na zona.
The present dissertation includes the study and proposal for the recovery of a farmer house from the 18th century to a center for the arts and crafts of wood in the parish of Sobrosa, municipality of Paredes. In short, it seeks the analysis of an architectural object to its socio-cultural, historical and architectural character, also analyzing the current legislative context applicable to the conservation and valorization of the architectural heritage. In addition to These matters, the study of the socio-cultural and economic framework of the territory allows the proposal to assign a new function to the building, through its recovery and volumetric complementation, creating a training program with emphasis on the local arts and crafts that will have workshops where students will be able to carry out their projects, thus seeking to reduce youth unemployment by promoting their own jobs or developing projects based on traditional skills that may take place in today's markets. From these materials a new space is added to the building, part of a uniform set that works in a programmatic and formal harmony that fits the existing needs in the area.
