Abstract(s)
preparação do pessoal técnico. O desenvolvimento deste tema é relevante pois permite
The present work focuses on the management and organization system of the military industry, based on the assumption that the reality of the Military Industry is very complex, as it obeys a set of standards, such as specific international standards and military security. In this way, it was decided to develop this theme with a view to serving as support to military manufacturing institutions, which want a continuous improvement of production processes with support for Lean Manufacturing. In order to better analyze the problem, a demonstration system of the production flow in the manufacturing industry was created, more specifically in the cylinder repair shop, where we had to implement the “5S” tool and later other tools. Before the implementation of this Lean Manufacturing tool, problems were detected such as poor organization of equipment and standardization, among other factors, which delayed, damaged and created waste within the manufacturing institution. The most enumerated problems, within the equipment manufacturing and repair sections, were the organization of the site, the repair methods and models, and the preparation of technical personnel. The development of this theme is relevant because it allows understanding the importance of the military industry and its role in the production subsystem, as well as the implementation of the Lean Manufacturing concept and its tools.
