| dc.description.abstract | Este estudo dissertativo insere-se no Ć¢mbito do curso de mestrado em Estudos LusĆ³fonos ministrado pela Universidade da Beira Interior e apresenta o tema āA mulher contra a MasculinizaĆ§Ć£o Social, em Niketche de Paulina Chizianeā. A introduĆ§Ć£o salienta de forma sucinta a relaĆ§Ć£o assimĆ©trica de poder entre os gĆ©neros feminino e masculino em Ćfrica, em distintos perĆodos de tempo. Seguem-se trĆŖs capĆtulos. O primeiro faz uma abordagem relacionada com a construĆ§Ć£o do romance. Procura, por um lado, compreender os componentes indispensĆ”veis deste gĆ©nero e princĆpios axiolĆ³gicos que dele emana, e por outro lado, distingue o romance de outro gĆ©nero narrativo, o conto, para um melhor enquadramento literĆ”rio de Paulina Chiziane. No segundo capĆtulo encontram-se tratadas questƵes relativas ao estado da mulher africana e, em particular, a moƧambicana, devido aos valores tradicionais e culturais que caraterizam o Grande Continente narrados em Niketche. SĆ£o problematizados temas subjacentes Ć submissĆ£o das mulheres, como, por exemplo, o sistema patriarcal, desde os tipos de casamentos, a visĆ£o dos detentores polĆticos quanto Ć s estruturas familiares e a vertente religiosa respeitante ao conflito de gĆ©nero. O terceiro capĆtulo dedica-se Ć anĆ”lise textual de Niketche, procurando perceber as razƵes do conflito entre os gĆ©neros instalados, jĆ” que a narrativa reĆŗne elementos tĆpicos concernentes Ć relaĆ§Ć£o de poder que envolve figuras femininas e masculinas, ambiente opressor do ponto de vista da autora. Por esta razĆ£o, as personagens e as aƧƵes sĆ£o construĆdas em funĆ§Ć£o dos valores axiolĆ³gicos africanos e, em particular, moƧambicanos que contribuem para que a disparidade de oportunidades de vida entre homens e mulheres ocorra. Para a construĆ§Ć£o da nova identidade feminina sĆ£o apresentadas propostas que visam o alcance de eventuais consensos para pĆ“r termo Ć poligamia e outras tradiƧƵes opressivas. Ć nesta parte da dissertaĆ§Ć£o onde a consciĆŖncia feminina Ć© despertada, para a conquista de espaƧo na sociedade moƧambicana, que visa a sua liberdade do jugo patriarcal a que estĆ” sujeita. Todavia, a construĆ§Ć£o de um novo paradigma Ć© dependente somente da prĆ³pria figura masculina, a vĆtima dos excessos falocĆŖntricos, e, por isso, o tempo estĆ” subdividido trĆŖs partes: um passado, dominado completamente por homens; um presente, dividido entre os anciĆ£os e os jovens, e um futuro, sem marginalizaĆ§Ć£o, uma sociedade onde as mulheres tĆŖm vez e voz, tal como os homens. Finalmente, na conclusĆ£o, apresentamos sob forma de sĆntese aspetos relacionados as perceƧƵes despertadas pela leitura de Niketche, quanto aos efeitos da poligamia e de outras tradiƧƵes patriarcais no desenvolvimento da sociedade moƧambicana. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | This dissertation is part of the Master's course in Lusophone Studies by the University of Beira Interior and presents the theme "Women against Social Masculinization, in Niketche de Paulina Chiziane". The introduction briefly highlights the asymmetric relationship between the power of female and male genders in Africa at different times. Here are three chapters. The first takes an approach related to the construction of the novel. On the one hand, it seeks to understand the indispensable components of this gender and its axiological principles, and on the other hand, distinguishes the novel from another narrative genre, the tale, for a better literary setting by Paulina Chiziane. The second chapter there are some questions relating to the status of African women, and in particular Mozambican women, because of the traditional and cultural values that characterize the Great Continent narrated in Niketche. Issues that underline the submission of women, such as the patriarchal system, from the types of marriages, to the views of the political holders on family structures, and the problems of religious side in the gender conflict. The third chapter is about the textual analysis of Niketche, trying to understand the reasons of the conflict between the installed genres, since the narrative brings together typical elements concerning the relation of power that involves feminine and masculine figures, oppressive environment from the point of view of the author. For this reason, the characters and actions are built on the axiological values of Africa and, in particular, Mozambicans who contribute to the disparity of life opportunities between men and women. For the construction of the new feminine identity, there are some proposals that aim to achieve consensus to end polygamy and other oppressive traditions. I t is in this part of the dissertation that the feminine consciousness is awakened, to conquer a place in Mozambican society, which aims at its freedom from the patriarchal game to which it is subject. However, the construction of a new paradigm is dependent only on the male figure itself, the victim of the phallocentric excesses, and, therefore, time is subdivided into three parts: a past, completely dominated by men; a gift, divided between the elders and the young, and a future, without marginalization, a society where women have time and voice, just like men. Finally, in the conclusion, we present synthetically aspects related to the perceptions aroused by the reading of Niketche, as to the conferences of polygamy and other patriarchal traditions in the development of Mozambican society. | eng |
