Abstract(s)
A presente investigação tem como objetivo refletir sobre a aproximação do público aos
espaços culturais, neste caso aos espaços museológicos, mais concretamente ao Museu
Marítimo de Ílhavo.
A pesquisa navegou sobre o movimento teórico e metodológico da Nova Museologia. A
análise aos seus princípios revelou que o movimento tinha como base a democratização
cultural e o diálogo dos espaços museológicos com a comunidade. Sendo assim, a
pergunta de partida proposta para iniciar o relatório prendeu-se na reflexão da
aproximação que os projetos de comunidade poderiam concretizar entre o público e a
instituição. Também comportará a análise do trinómio território, comunidade e
património, representativo do movimento e em consonância com o tema em trabalho.
Ainda se fará uma contextualização regional de modo a perceber as características sociais
da comunidade. Também será delineada a história do Museu Marítimo de Ílhavo para
que se percebam as linhas de ações tomadas no presente. De forma a consolidar os
aprendizados teóricos e profissionais, será proposto um projeto de comunidade da
autoria da mestranda.
The present research seeks to reflect on the approach of the public to cultural spaces, in this case to museum spaces, more specifically to the Museu Marítimo de Ílhavo. The investigation sailed over the theoretical and methodological movement of New Museology. The analysis of its principles revealed that the movement was based on cultural democratization and the dialogue of museum facilities with the community. Therefore, the starting question proposed to begin the report was a reflection on the approach that community projects could bring between the public and the institution. It will also carry the analysis of the trinomial territory, community, and heritage, representative of the movement and in line with the theme at work. Furthermore, a regional contextualization will be made to understand the social characteristics of the community. The history of the Museu Marítimo de Ílhavo will also be outlined to understand the lines of action taken in the present. In order to consolidate the theoretical and professional learning, a community project will be proposed.
