| dc.description.abstract | A presente investigação tem como objectivo primeiro saber que competências leitoras têm os nossos alunos e, consequentemente, aprofundar estudos acerca do(s) lugares da leitura, uma vez que estes têm evoluído ao longo dos tempos. Dos aspectos relativos à superfície do texto, passou-se para uma perspectiva de leitura onde o leitor tem um papel fundamental ao interagir com este. Sem o leitor, o texto poderá permanecer uma mensagem inerte e sem sentido, cuja vida jamais ganhará. Investigações várias tanto nacionais como internacionais, vêm demonstrando que os alunos fracos em leitura não conseguem inserir-se na vida activa e fazer parte da sociedade a que pertencem. Ser um leitor pouco competente significa não fazer parte do mundo de hoje. O nosso trabalho, para além de apresentar uma síntese acerca dos conceitos de leitura e aprendizagem desta, apresenta resultados com os alunos da nossa escola, interpreta-os e propõe estratégias que, em nosso entender, num trabalho mais alargado no tempo, poderão, indiscutivelmente, conduzir a bons resultados. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The present research is aimed at, firstly, knowing which reading skills our students have and secondly, widening the range of our studies about the place(s) where reading takes place, since these have changed over the years. This research moves from aspects related to the text surface, to a perspective on reading where the reader fulfils a fundamental role when he/she interacts with it. Without the reader, the text might remain an inert and senseless message, which will never come alive. Various researchers, both national and international, have been demonstrating that students who are weak readers are not able to lead an active life in and fully become part of the society to which they belong. To be a less competent reader means not to be a part of the world of today. Our work, besides presenting a synthesis of the concepts of reading and its learning, also presents results, drawn from the students of our school, and their interpretation. Furthermore, it presents some strategies which, in our understanding, could, given more time to work with them, undoubtedly lead to very satisfying results. | |
