Abstract(s)

Medicine is not an exception, and with de development of technology, there’s also an evolution of Medicine. Informatics has become transversal to all medical specialities, and so it emerged as a new discipline, Medical Informatics. From Telemedicine, to the decision support systems, to clinical management programmes, informatics has been improving and facilitating the learning and communication between physicians. With the emerging of smartphones and the increasing adoption of these devices by health professionals, is easy to guess that little by little it would become a necessary mean for the work day. Beside the fact that these devices are essential for the mobile communication between the individuals, when they are combined whit some applications or other mobile tools, they appear to be very useful for sharing medical information, support with differential diagnosis, complementary diagnosis exams interpretation, medical education support, and others. Most of the times, smartphones, can be used as diagnosis support tools, allowing the performance of test and exams that used to be executed in a specific location.
