Abstract(s)
O estudo a elaborar ao longo da dissertação propõe a reabilitação de uma habitação na cidade da Covilhã, a partir da influência da música de um artista. Esta tem como objetivo principal estabelecer o paralelo entre a conceção da arquitetura e a música, tentando verificar a harmonia e complementaridade existentes entre as artes.
Para esse efeito, proceder-se-á ao estudo e à análise do percurso do artista Mário Laginha, tentando sempre compreender o diálogo que o músico tem com os vários géneros musicais explorados. Proceder-se-á ainda a uma análise do concurso “Uma casa para os Pink Floyd” e à realização de entrevistas a profissionais da música, na cidade da Covilhã, indagando sobre o grau de satisfação relativamente às suas habitações, nomeadamente, na relação destas com as necessidades profissionais e eventuais pistas para a conceção de uma habitação com as características desejadas.
Como resultado final pretende-se, transportar para uma proposta todos os conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo da dissertação, definindo um programa que vise a reabilitação de uma habitação unifamiliar, abandonada e em ruínas, de forma a devolver identidade ao local e adaptá-la às exigências e funcionalidades indispensáveis para albergar outra família com interesses no campo da música.
The study to develop along the dissertation proposes the rehabilitation of a dwelling in the city of Covilhã, from the influence of the music of an artist. This aims to establish a parallel between the design of architecture and music, trying to verify the existing harmony and complementarity between the arts. To this end, the study and analysis of the course of the artist Mário Laginha shall be made, trying to always understand the dialogue that the musician has explored with various genres. There shall be an analysis of the competition "A home for the Pink Floyd" and conducting interviews with music professionals in the city of Covilhã, inquiring about the degree of satisfaction with their housing, particularly in respect of these with professional needs and possible clues for the design of a residence with the desired characteristics. As a final result we aim to carry a proposal, built with all the knowledge acquired throughout the dissertation, defining a program directed at the rehabilitation of a single family, abandoned and dilapidated housing, to return to the local his identity and adapt it to the requirements and essential features to host another family with interests in music.
