No รขmbito da Unidade Curricular โEstรกgioโ do 2ยบ Ciclo de Estudos em Ciรชncias do DesportoTreino Desportivo, na Universidade Beira Interior, foi realizado um estรกgio curricular no Clube
Desportivo 1ยบ de Agosto. O presente documento pretende descrever todo o processo que ocorreu
durante a รฉpoca desportiva na minha รกrea de intervenรงรฃo. Cumulativamente, รฉ tambรฉm
apresentado um trabalho de introduรงรฃo ร investigaรงรฃo que teve como objetivo verificar os efeitos
de um programa de treino pliomรฉtrico durante 6 semanas de treino atravรฉs do Teste Zig-Zag,
Teste de Mudanรงa de Direรงรฃo, Teste de Yo-Yo e teste de Salto Horizontal. Foi usado um grupo de
30 jovens jogadores de futebol, todos do sexo masculino, pertencentes ao Clube Desportivo 1ยบ de
Agosto, nascidos entre 2005 e 2007 (sub-17). Os participantes do estudo foram organizados
aleatoriamente em dois grupos, sendo que 15 jogadores integraram o grupo controlo (mรฉdia de
idade de 15,80ยฑ0,78) e 15 jogadores o grupo experimental (media de idade de 15,87ยฑ0,43). A
comparaรงรฃo entre os momentos de avaliaรงรฃo em cada grupo de anรกlise reporta diferenรงa
significativa no grupo de intervenรงรฃo na execuรงรฃo prรฉ e pรณs treino do Zig-Zag (t = 3,05; ? = 0,22;
p = 0,009; d =0,16) e da mudanรงa de direรงรฃo (t = 2,47; ? = 0,45; p = 0,027; d = 0,02). Verificaramse diferenรงas entre posiรงรตes no teste Zig-Zag, entre as posiรงรตes de defesa e mรฉdio, contudo quando
se considerou a integraรงรฃo dos dois momentos de avaliaรงรฃo, verificaram-se diferenรงas
significativas diferenรงas nas mudanรงas de direรงรฃo no grupo de intervenรงรฃo (t = 4,12; ? = 0,58; p
= 0,009; d = 0,06) e no salto horizontal no grupo de controlo (t = 1,25; ? = - 0,10; p = 0,031; d =
0,004). De acordo com os resultados conclui-se que existem diferenรงas significativas com
tamanhos de efeito pequenos na mudanรงa de direรงรฃo pelos testes Zig-Zag e no teste de Mudanรงa
de Direรงรฃo, quando comparadas as variรกveis entre os dois grupos de interesse. Assim, o treino
pliomรฉtrico pode ser indicado para evoluรงรฃo do desempenho individual e durante o processo de
controlo e avaliaรงรฃo da carga de treino quando queremos fazer uma comparaรงรฃo por posiรงรฃo.
Futuras investigaรงรตes deverรฃo expandir a investigaรงรฃo a outras faixas etรกrias e outras equipas
juvenis de futebol.
Within the scope of the Curricular Unit โInternshipโ of the 2nd Cycle of Studies in Sports Sciences-Sports Training, at the University of Beira Interior, a curricular internship was carried out at Clube Desportivo 1ยบ de Agosto. This document intends to describe the entire process that took place during the sports season in my area of intervention. Cumulatively, an introductory research work is also presented, which aimed to verify the effects of a plyometric training program during 6 weeks of training through the Zig-Zag Test, Change of Direction Test, Yo-Yo Test, and Horizontal Jump test. A group of 30 young soccer players was used, all males, belonging to Clube Desportivo 1ยบ de Agosto, born between 2005 and 2007 (under-17). The participants were randomly organized in two groups, 15 players integrated the control group (mean age 15.80) and 15 players integrated the experimental group (mean age 15.87ยฑ0.43). Comparison between preand post- intervention moments reported significant difference in Zig-Zag test (t = 3.05; ? = 0.22; p = 0.009; d =0.16) and the change of direction test (t = 2.47; ? = 0.45; p = 0.027; d = 0.02) in intervention group. There are differences between the defence and midfielders in Zig-Zag test, however when the pre- and post- intervention integration was considered, there were significant differences in changes of direction in the intervention group (t = 4.12; ? = 0.58; p = 0.009; d = 0.06) and the horizontal jump in the control group (t = 1.25; ? = - 0.10; p = 0.031; d = 0.004). According to the results it is concluded that there were significant differences with small effect sizes in the change of direction when comparing the variables between the two groups of interest. Thus, the plyometric training can be indicated for individual work or when we want to make a comparison by playing position during the training load monitoring. Future research must expand the research to other age groups and other youth football teams.
