Abstract(s)
Pretende-se com este trabalho abordar alguns aspetos sobre os riscos relacionados com o posto de trabalho na indústria, bem como os mecanismos de proteção individual e coletiva. Este caso de estudo foi realizado em diversas empresas regionais, nomeadamente, Adega Cooperativa do Fundão, Beiralacte, Biofun, DAMAR, Danone, FLP, LOCA, Quinta do Pomar, Salsicharia, Casa Quintela e Labinter, e numa empresa nacional, Bial. Para a caracterização das empresas foram obtidos dados por observação direta ou disponibilizados pelas mesmas, através da realização de inquéritos. Os dados foram posteriormente analisados, tendo sido avaliados os seguintes fatores: as condições de segurança; os riscos profissionais inerentes ao ambiente de trabalho ou ao processo operacional das diferentes atividades, de forma a prevenir as doenças profissionais dos indivíduos a eles expostos; o uso de equipamentos de proteção individual (EPI) e equipamentos de proteção coletiva (EPC) para garantir a integridade física do trabalhador.
Com este trabalho podemos verificar que as empresas inquiridas se preocupam com a segurança individual e coletiva dos seus colaboradores, contribuindo, deste modo, para uma redução de riscos no posto de trabalho.
The aim of this study addresses some aspects of the risks related to the work post in the industry, as well as individual and collective protection mechanisms. This particular study was conducted in several regional companies, namely, Adega Cooperativa do Fundão, Beiralacte, Biofun, DAMAR, Danone, FLP, LOCA, Quinta do Pomar, Salsicharia, Casa Quintela e Labinter, and in a national company, Bial. To characterize the companies, data were obtained by direct observation or made available by them by conducting surveys for later analysis. The following aspects were considered: safety conditions, occupational hazards inherent to the working environment or the operating process of different activities in order to prevent occupational diseases of individuals exposed to them; the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protection equipment (CPE) to ensure the physical integrity of the worker. From the analysis of the data obtained in the surveys, it was possible to verify that companies are concerned with the individual and collective security of their employees, thus contributing to a risk reduction in the workplace.
