Abstract(s)
pretende preservar as memórias do local. Com consciência que este projeto se desenvolve
numa cidade do passado, e devemos construir com o passado para o nosso presente;
The current dissertation it’s focused on a project of rehabilitation of three different buildings. In Portugal, more than half of the population lives and works in the big cities, thereupon the access to the habitation is settled and limited by the capital of the user. The real estate investments are now focused on tourism industry, raising the tourist exploitation in historical areas, as Porto’s downtown. Consequently, this propelling the low housing offer, that is not able to demolished and rebuilt with significant asset value and this motion persists to the adjacent properties that’s surrounds the downtown of Porto’s. Stating the replacement of the residential accommodations for tourist allocations, the architectonic practice arises, as key for the development of clever solutions, that strives for the protections of the residents and those memories related with their hometown.
