Abstract(s)
Com este projecto, cujo tema “O cérebro sustentável de um hipotético Bairro” visa tentar resolver um conjunto de factores conducentes a uma melhor qualidade de vida de um aglomerado habitacional e a relação com o próximo.
Ao aplicar a palavra cérebro, no sentido metafórico, pretende-se que este “comande” as acções de quem habita o Bairro, ajudando-o e contribuindo ao nível económico, social e ecológico numa perspectiva sustentável, através de Hortas Suspensas e de um Espaço Comunitário. Um outro vínculo do trabalho é colmatar alguns dos problemas da actualidade sobretudo os provenientes do consumo da água e da energia.
Actualmente, as exigências em termos de qualidade de vida procuram a satisfação individual a curto prazo, adoptando um comportamento consumista de bens e serviços; pretende-se melhores condições de conforto, mesmo que isso obrigue a elevados consumos de energia, água e outros recursos.
Há quem aspire a uma vida mais próxima da natureza, beneficiando de espaços verdes, ar puro e tendo uma visão sobre enquadramentos naturais.
O primeiro capítulo visa focar o que é um bairro, a sua definição e evidenciar algumas das suas problemáticas.
O segundo capítulo fala um pouco do conceito de sustentabilidade, e o quão é importante inserir-se na actualidade e no futuro.
O terceiro capítulo é dedicado ao projecto, focando todo um conjunto de conceitos e ideias que poderão vir a ser aplicadas no futuro.
Para além da composição teórica são apresentados esquemas e figuras que ajudam a compreender o projecto.
With this project, whose theme "The brain of a hypothetical sustainable Neighborhood" aims to tackle a number of factors leading to a better quality of life of a cluster housing and the relationship to the next. In applying the word brain, in order metafórico, it is intended to "command" the actions of those who inhabit the neighborhood, helping him and contributing to the economic, social and ecological in a sustainable, through Hortas Suspensas and an Area Community. Another link of the work is to fill some of the problems of today especially those from the consumption of water and energy. Currently, the requirements in terms of quality of life to seek personal satisfaction in the short term, adopting an attitude of consumer goods and services; seeks to better conditions of comfort, even if it involves high consumption of energy, water and other resources. Some people aspire to a life closer to nature, benefiting from green spaces, clean air and taking a view on natural environments. The first chapter aims to focus on what is a neighborhood, its definition and highlight some of their problems. The second chapter speaks a little of the concept of sustainability, and how important it is embedded in its present and future. The third chapter is devoted to the project, focusing on a range of concepts and ideas that could be applied in the future. Apart from the theoretical schemes and figures are presented that help to understand the project.
