Abstract(s)
The Switched Reluctance Motor (MRV) is an unusual electrical drive, which can provide advantages over other existing in the current market, especially thanks to its simple construction, low manufacturing cost, and capable to fault-tolerant applications. Is therefore important to devote time to studying this type of engine, so that in future, is chosen by those with the greatest benefit. Aware of this reality, the teachers attached to the Center of Systems and Electrical Drives of the University of Beira Interior, have for several years, presented several papers developed on this theme.
