Abstract(s)
O presente estudo intitulado “Fotografia e Memoria: a Festa do Divino Espírito Santo em
Crixás – Goiás” tem como objetivo utilizar a imagem fotográfica, associada à técnica de
história oral como acionadora de lembranças individuais e coletivas, para recuperar
pequenas histórias e construir um mosaico de memórias sobre estas festividades. Por
meio da experiência etnográfica, das entrevistas semiestruturadas e entrevistas por meio
da aplicação do método que alia fotografias aos relatos de fontes orais realizada entre os
anos de 2008 e 2019, foi possível transcrever a Festa por meio de uma narrativa
fotográfica expositiva das imagens capturadas durante o período de pesquisa. Além
disso, esse método possibilitou elaborar estratégias, por meio de um plano de
comunicação, para a colaboração na preservação da memória dessa manifestação
cultural. No final pudemos concluir que a fotografia é fundamental para a reconstituição
do passado, um recurso necessário para compreensão da identidade individual e coletiva
da história de um povo. Toda imagem fotográfica carrega em si uma história, um registro
da realidade que pode ou não existir no tempo presente, um documento de caráter
testemunhal de algo que de fato existiu, um importante instrumento para a reconstrução
da história, uma fonte de pesquisa que possibilita recuperar cenários e momentos que
ficaram apenas na memória de quem os vivenciou.
The present study entitled “Photography and Memory: the Festa do Divino Espírito Santo in Crixás - Goiás” aimed to use the photographic image, associated with the technique of oral history as a driver of individual and collective memories, retrieve small stories and build a mosaic of memories about the festivities. Through the ethnographic experience, semi-structured interviews and interviews through the application of the method that combines photographs with reports from oral sources carried out between the years 2008 and 2019, it was possible to transcribe the festivity through a photographic narrative of the images captured during the survey period. In addition, this method made it possible to develop strategies, through a communication plan, for collaboration in the preservation of the memory of this cultural manifestation. In the end, we can conclude that photography is fundamental for the reconstruction of the past, a necessary resource for understanding the individual and collective identity of a people's history. Every photographic image carries with it a history, a record of reality that may or may not exist in the present time, a document with a testimonial character of something that did exist, an important instrument for the reconstruction of history, a source of research that makes it possible to recover scenarios and moments that were only in the memory of those who experienced it.
