Abstract(s)
Mesmo antes de entrar, já tinha em mente como iria concluir o mestrado; seria com
um estágio, pois é a melhor forma de por em prática todos os conhecimentos que obtive
desde o momento da licenciatura e que foram complementados com o mestrado. Trabalhar ao
lado de profissionais, perceber e entender como realmente as coisas funcionam, para além da
teoria, é muito importante, antes de realizar um projeto próprio ou mesmo de escrever uma
tese. Na minha opinião, o trabalho de campo é o mais importante para crescimento como
profissional, e a única via que me permitia isso era o estágio, daí a minha escolha de concluir
o mestrado com um estágio.
A partir deste momento, tinha que encontrar uma produtora que me acolhesse como
estagiário. As minhas escolhas recaíram sobre as que considero as melhores produtoras de
publicidade de Lisboa, que conhecia na altura, com as quais agendei uma entrevista,
nomeadamente a Krypton Films e a Stopline, cujos contactos obtive através de amigos, que
me ajudaram no processo. Na minha decisão prevaleceu a Krypton que, no momento, me
pareceu ser o melhor local para estagiar devido a ter trabalho mais regular do que a
Stopline; dessa forma, poderiam surgir mais oportunidades de aperfeiçoar as minhas
capacidades.
Na entrevista, apresentei-me com a intenção de fazer um estágio em produção, pois
seria a melhor hipótese para continuar a trabalhar na área, uma vez que existem mais
oportunidades do que na realização. Após conversar com o primeiro assistente de
realização, que seria o meu orientador, ficou decido que o meu estágio seria de realização,
pois cheguei à conclusão que, em função daquilo que queria fazer, seria mais apropriada
essa vertente, uma vez que assistência de realização é a ponte entre a produção e a
realização. Após uma breve conversa explicativa daquilo em que iria consistir o meu estágio,
das minhas tarefas e de conselhos, ficou agendado que o meu estágio iria começar no dia 4
de Agosto de 2014.
As principais tarefas que pretendem de um estagiário de realização foram: Elaboração
de Pastas de PPM, preenchimento de folhas de serviço, filmagem e edição de casting,
Making Of, 2º ou 3º assistência de realização em filmagem, em que estou responsável pela
figuração, e pelo casting principal, e acompanho o guarda-roupa e make up, em
conformidade com a folha de serviço.
Foi com grande otimismo que iniciei o estágio pretendendo cumprir todas estas
funções da melhor forma possível.
Even before starting, I had in mind that an internship is the best way to put into practice all the knowledge I got from the master. Work alongside professionals, realize and understand how things really work, beyond the theory, is very important in order to performing a project itself or even to write a thesis. In my opinion, the field work is the most important for growth as a professional, and the only way that allowed this was the intership, hence my choice of a master's degree with an internship. From this moment, I had to find a producer who acolhesse me as an intern. My choice fell on those I consider the best producers of Lisbon advertising I knew at the time, with whom I scheduled an interview, including Krypton Films and Stopline, whose details I got through friends, who helped me in the process. In my decision at the time, it prevailed that Krypton seemed like the best place for an intership since it had more regular work than Stopline; that way, there could be more opportunities to improve my skills. In the interview, I presented myself with the intention of doing an internship in production, it would be the best chance to continue working in the area, since there are more opportunities in that area. After talking with the first assistant director, who would be my mentor, it was decided that my internship would be second assistent director because I have concluded that, based on what he wanted to do, would be more appropriate in this aspect, since conducting assistance is the bridge between production and directing. After a short explanatory talk of what my internship would consist in terms of tasks and advice, it was scheduled that my internship would start on August 4, 2014. The main tasks during my trainee were: PPM Apresentation, service sheets, filming and casting editing, Making Of, 2nd or 3rd conducting assistance in shooting, where I am responsible for figuration, and the main casting, and accompany the costumes and make up, in accordance with the service sheets. It was with great optimism that began the internship with the ambition to perform all these functions optimally.
