Abstract(s)
A metodologia utilizada consistiu numa abordagem à investigação dedutiva, partindo
The application of Lean Services in sectors such as the wholesale trade of machinery and tools aims to reduce costs and waste as well as improve operational efficiency and quality of services. This internship report has as its general objective the development of a tool for planning, control and tracking of all company processes from order to after-sales service. The methodology used consisted of an approach to deductive research, starting from the review of the existing bibliography focussed on Lean implementation methodologies in the context of services and a case study at the Olipal company. With the application of value flow mapping, a Lean tool, it was found that it is possible to reduce the lead time by 291 seconds in the production process of CPM 5. It was also found that the development of the platform in this company is an asset, because the platform has standardised work instructions, as well as ensures the information of each equipment report in a specific database for each equipment. This platform aims to plan, manage and track all company processes from order to after-sales service. It is recommended to implement the platform developed in companies in this sector to computerise processes and enable a continuous production flow. In addition, it is suggested to expand the platform to include functions of control of replaced parts and stock management, with the aim of organising, controlling and planning processes more effectively.
