O presente documento tem por base a minha experiência profissionalizante para a
obtenção do grau de mestre em Ciências Farmacêuticas e encontra-se dividido em duas
componentes: Investigação e Farmácia Comunitária.
No primeiro capítulo é descrito todo o trabalho de investigação que teve objetivo
analisar as considerações dos inquiridos acerca de produtos cosméticos, características
dos mesmos, bem como as suas preferências e expectativas aquando da aquisição de
produtos cosméticos, bem como a que fontes de informação e a que profissionais de
saúde recorrem quando surgem duvidas ou procuram aconselhamento. Para este
estudo foi realizado um questionário online, que contou com 611 respondentes. O
questionário é constituído por 29 questões de resposta fechada dividido em várias
secções, A primeira secção possui 5 questões relativas ao perfil sociodemográfico e
sociocultural da pessoa, sendo as restantes secções alusivas à perceção do consumidor
sobre produtos de dermocosmética, a sua compra e experiência social. A análise
estatística dos dados obtidos no questionário foi realizada com o programa Statistical
Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), versão 27.0 para Windows. No conjunto de
indivíduos inquiridos foi possível apurar que 63% da amostra estudada considerou os
produtos cosméticos como importantes ou muito importantes na sua vida diária e
62,12% consideram-nos fulcrais na melhoria da sua qualidade de vida. No que se refere
ao papel dos produtos cosméticos na forma como os indivíduos se percecionam, 75,2%
dos indivíduos inquiridos concordaram que estes produtos melhoram a sua autoestima
e 53,35% concordam com o impacto positivo dos produtos na forma como são vistos
pelos outros. No que concerne às categorias de produtos cosméticos mais importantes
na vida diária dos indivíduos, os produtos de higiene oral foram os mais assinalados
como extremamente importantes pelos inquiridos. Foi também questionado aos
inquiridos se têm por hábito recorrer à farmácia e ao farmacêutico para informações e
aquisição de produtos cosméticos, obtendo-se uma taxa de respostas positivas de
28,48% e 56%, respetivamente, enaltecendo assim o papel multidisciplinar do
Farmacêutico. No segundo capítulo encontram-se descritas todas as atividades desenvolvidas no
decorrer do meu estágio em Farmácia Comunitária, que decorreu no período de
setembro a janeiro, na Farmácia Avenida localizada na cidade de Lamego. Esta
experiência profissionalizante permitiu-me consolidar os conhecimentos adquiridos ao
longo dos anos de faculdade e enriqueceu-me enquanto futura farmacêutica.

The first chapter describes all the research work that aimed to analyze the considerations of surveys on cosmetic products, their characteristics, as well as their preferences and expectations when purchasing cosmetic products and the sources of information and health professionals they look for when doubts arise or seek for advice. For this study, an online questionnaire was conducted, which had 611 respondents. The questionnaire consists of 29 closed-answer questions divided into several sections. The first section has 5 questions that inquire the sociodemographic and sociocultural profile of the person, the remaining sections inquire the consumer's perception of cosmetic products, their purchase and social experience. A statistical analysis of the data obtained from the questionnaire was performed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), version 27.0 for Windows. With this study, it was possible to ascertain that 63% of the studied sample considers cosmetic products as important or very important in their daily life and 62.12% consider them essential in improving their quality of life. Regarding the role of cosmetic products in the way people perceive themselves, 75.2% of the respondents agreed that these products improve their selfesteem and 53.35% agree with the positive impact of products on the way they are seen by others. Regarding the most important cosmetic product categories in the daily life of the participants in this study, oral hygiene products were the most mentioned as extremely important by the respondents. Respondents were also asked if they usually reach the pharmacy and pharmacist for information and purchase of cosmetic products, obtaining a positive response rate of 28.48% and 56%, respectively, thus praising the multidisciplinary role of the Pharmacist. The second chapter describes all the activities developed during my internship in Community Pharmacy, which took place from September to January, at Farmácia Avenida located in the city of Lamego. This professional experience allowed me to consolidate the knowledge acquired over the years of college and enriched me as a future pharmacist.
