Analisamos os custos económicos, de natureza privada, que devem ser considerados no tratamento de úlceras da perna através da aplicação do tratamento de terapia compressiva. Adicionalmente, temos como propósito identificar o impacto do
tratamento referido em termos de melhoria de qualidade de vida, pela aplicação do
questionário de medição Cardiff de tratamento de impacto da ferida. O tipo de avaliação que utilizamos é a análise custo-efectividade. Os dados utilizados referem-se aos utentes do Centro de Saúde de Santa Comba Dão que estão sujeitos ao tratamento de terapia compressiva. Os resultados obtidos mostram a eficácia do tratamento de terapia compressiva em termos de custo-efectividade.
We analyze the economic costs, of private nature, which must be considered in the treatment of leg ulcers by application of the treatment with compression therapy. Additionally, we have the purpose of identifying the impact of the described treatment in terms of improved quality of life by the application of a Cardiff impact of treatment of the wound measure questionnaire. The type of assessment we use is the cost effectiveness. The data we use refers to the users of the Centro de Saúde of Santa Comba Dão which have been subject to medical treatment with compression therapy. The results show the effectiveness of treatment with compression therapy in terms of cost-effectiveness.
