Abstract(s)
O propósito deste trabalho é dar a conhecer a modalidade do Pentatlo
Moderno, a sua especificidade e riqueza associada. Nesse contexto, será
apresentada uma proposta metodológica coerente, fundamentada e exequível,
em contexto escolar. Pretende-se, portanto, construir um conhecimento de
base acerca da modalidade, aprofundando conhecimentos acerca de cada uma
das disciplinas que a compõem, procurando-se, com isso, realçar o valor
educativo e a riqueza motora desta modalidade desportiva. Ao mesmo tempo
pretendemos também focar a atenção em aspectos cruciais na especificidade
inerente ao treino do Pentatlo Moderno, bem como na sua necessária
adequação em contexto escolar.
O presente estudo compreende três partes: uma primeira onde
abordamos as origens, significação e regulamentos do Pentatlo Moderno, e
onde de cada disciplina do Pentatlo Moderno se procura a adequada
compreensão; uma segunda parte, onde abordaremos aspectos relacionados
com o planeamento e metodologia de treino e, uma terceira parte, onde iremos
apresentar uma proposta metodológica do Pentatlo Moderno a aplicar em
contexto escolar.
The main purpose of this paper is to share some knowledge regarding the Modern Pentathlon, its uniqueness and richness. Within this topic, there will be a doable, fundamented and coherent methodology adapted to school environment. We seek, in this way, to build knowledge about this sport contest developing know-how in each event included, and in this way bringing out its educational and physical resource quality and importance. At the same time we also focus on crucial specific aspects which are related to Modern Pentathlon training and preparation as well as its adaptability to schooling environments. This study consists of three parts; The first one, we focus on the origins, meaning and regulations of the Modern Pentathlon, from which we get a specific understanding from a specific event, a second part which speaks about aspects related to planning and training methodology, and a third part where we will present a methodology proposal of the Modern Pentathlon to be used in school environment.
