Abstract(s)
In a society each time more competitive, in which construction isn’t an exception, the knowledge of the mass as a construction material or even as a platform to built, becomes fundamental. So, thru times, there have been developed tools like in situ and lab tests, which allowed estimating, with great precision, parameters like load capacity, masses resistance, between others, which are fundamental to structures dimension, in a balanced way. The present dissertation will focus on the in situ tests, giving some notions about the execution methodology of the most usual tests, but concentrating mainly on the Standard Penetration test (SPT) and dynamic proof superheavy (DPSH) and on the correlation between them, so that it allows understanding the contribution that DPSH gives to mechanical characterization of the masses.
