| dc.description.abstract | A sociedade e o sistema patriarcal nos quais estamos inseridos perpetua diversos papéis e opressões das mulheres, preconceitos e graves desigualdades e, por mais controverso que seja, alimenta diretamente alguns problemas sociais ao mesmo tempo em que se recusa a reconhecêlos, como é o caso do sistema de prostituição. Homens são os principais compradores de sexo e garantem a existência deste violento sistema, ao mesmo em que a sociedade marginaliza a imagem e vivência das mulheres prostituídas e não trabalha ativamente para que as seja garantida proteção e condições mínimas de vida. Partindo do contexto em que se encontram as mulheres inseridas no sistema de prostituição na cidade de Lisboa e do trabalho da associação O Ninho, além do estudo de ferramentas, existentes ou não no território português, para apoiá-las e fornecê-las qualidade de vida por parte da esfera governamental e privada e analisando diversas publicações sobre o tema, a presente dissertação tem como objetivo propor um projeto arquitetónico para uma Casa de Acolhimento para a associação O Ninho, explorando ferramentas arquitetónicas adequadas, visando a promoção da igualdade entre homens e mulheres e a justiça social, o empoderamento e a construção da autonomia destas mulheres ao proporcionar mecanismos para a saída da situação de prostituição como principal fim, através da ótica feminista de viver a cidade e fazer arquitetura, considerando o sistema de prostituição como um problema social com claros agravantes de gênero e que constitui uma grave violação da dignidade das mulheres. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The society and the patriarchal system in which we live perpetuates several roles and oppressions against women, prejudices and serious inequalities and, however controversial, directly feeds some social problems while refusing to recognize them, as is the case of the prostitution system. Men are the main buyers of sex and guarantee the existence of this violent system, while society marginalizes the image and experience of prostituted women and does not actively work to guarantee them protection and minimum living conditions. Based on the context in which women in the prostitution system find themselves in the city of Lisbon and in the work of the O Ninho association, as well in the study of tools, existing or not in Portuguese territory, to support them and provide them with quality of life by the government and private spheres and analyzing various publications on the subject, this dissertation aims to propose an architectural project for a House for the O Ninho association, using appropriate architectural tools to promote equality between men and women and social justice, empowering and building the autonomy of these women by providing mechanisms for leaving the situation of prostitution as the main goal, through the feminist perspective of living the city and making architecture, considering the system of prostitution as a social problem with clear gender aggravations and which constitutes a serious violation of dignity. | eng |
