A área de estágio escolhida foi em acessórios de moda, especificamente em ourivesaria/joalharia, pois, durante todo o curso de Design de Moda, foi uma das vertentes menos exploradas e de grande interesse para a aluna, possibilitando-a assim aprender mais sobre este universo, que, também está ligado à Moda e ao Design. Neste relatório será possível perceber a evolução da joalharia, de uma forma geral, bem como, algumas especificidades, referindo temas inerentes tanto à joalharia como à ourivesaria, bem como, as técnicas desta arte, sendo possível, assim, perceber melhor este mundo interessantemente imersivo. Falar em joalharia não poderia ser possível sem falar nos materiais trabalhados, como são exemplo, o ouro, a prata, e as gemas. Será igualmente possível perceber as etapas de trabalho para obter uma peça final, todo o seu processo de realização. Ao longo de estágio foram realizados diferentes trabalhos, com o intuito de preparação para a realização da peça final de estágio, produzida pela estagiária. Desta forma, foi possível, adquirir conhecimentos e experiência nesta área, capacitando a aluna para, futuramente, ter a possibilidade de trabalhar e exercer na área de estágio, bem como na área de estudos
The internship area chosen was fashion accessories, specifically goldsmithing/jewelry, since throughout the Fashion Design course it was one of the least explored yet most interesting fields for the student. This choice provided the opportunity to gain deeper knowledge of this world, which is also intrinsically linked to Fashion and Design. This report presents the evolution of jewelry, from its origins to the present day, in a general perspective and, more specifically, addressing themes inherent to both jewelry and goldsmithing. It also explores the techniques of this art, from the most basic to the most specialized, allowing for a better understanding of this fascinating and immersive field. Speaking of jewelry necessarily involves discussing the materials employed, such as gold, silver, and, not to forget, gemstones—precious stones widely used in this art—together with other metals. The report also details the stages of work required to achieve a final piece, covering the entire production process. Throughout the internship, different projects were carried out as preparation for the creation of the final internship piece, designed and produced by the intern. This experience enabled the acquisition of knowledge and practical skills in the field, equipping the student with the ability to pursue future professional work in this area. Moreover, it highlights how the internship area and the academic field of study.
