Localizado bem no centro da cidade de Santa Maria da Feira, uma zona bastante urbanizada existe um terreno de 3.900 m2, aproximadamente, na Avenida 25 de Abril, onde atĆ© recentemente se situava o Tribunal do concelho. Atualmente, o edifĆcio encontra-se devoluto e vandalizado, segundo estudos realizados no local, o edifĆcio foi construĆdo sobre um terreno arenoso, que com as chuvas sazonais se torna movediƧo.
O trabalho trata a reabilitaĆ§Ć£o deste mesmo edifĆcio e do terreno em que se insere. O conceito do trabalho centra-se na criaĆ§Ć£o de um espaƧo que possibilite a promoĆ§Ć£o da cultura local, e da histĆ³ria milenar do concelho oferecendo aos habitantes um complexo interativo dirigido especialmente, Ć s camadas jovens do municĆpio procurando enriquecer a sua educaĆ§Ć£o. Como tema de reabilitaĆ§Ć£o foi decidido um centro cultural adjacente a outros espaƧos, com ligaƧƵes ao Pelouro da EducaĆ§Ć£o, Cultura, Desporto e Juventude, da CĆ¢mara Municipal de Santa Maria da Feira, e tambĆ©m, Ć Biblioteca Municipal.
O trabalho engloba uma anĆ”lise da cidade, do terreno e do edifĆcio existente, assim como o projeto de reabilitaĆ§Ć£o e, correspondente, memĆ³ria descritiva e explicativa.
Located in the heart of Santa Maria da Feira exists a 3.900 sq.m plot at Avenue 25 de Abril where until recently stood the court county. After studies carried on site the building was classified as unstable due to the ground where it was built, which doesnāt have the necessary consistency to support the buildingās weight. The thesisā subject is the rehabilitation of both the building and the plot itself, which concept focuses on creating a space that promotes the local culture and ancient history through an educational and interactive complex, targeting the younger people. The concept resulted in a cultural centre combined with other similar spaces, linked to the education, culture, sports and youthās department of city council and to the municipal library. The work includes city, plot and buildingās analysis, as well as the rehabilitation project and matching descriptive and explanatory report.
