Procurar a satisfação profissional parece ser um ponto importante não apenas na vida
profissional, mas também na autoestima de qualquer pessoa. A importância da satisfação
no trabalho nomeadamente nos serviços de saúde e suas consequências representam um
indicador de bem-estar e da qualidade de vida dos seus trabalhadores. Por isso, o estudo
desses tópicos é relevante no contexto das organizações de serviços, já que tem influência
nos serviços prestados ao utente além disso são elementos fundamentais para a avaliação
da qualidade das instituições de saúde.
Este estudo teve como objetivo conhecer os níveis de satisfação dos profissionais de
saúde de Angola, e identificar os potenciais fatores associados.
O presente estudo adota uma abordagem qualitativa pelo método de estudo de caso,
recorrendo-se a entrevista com perguntas semiestruturadas aplicadas online. Os dados
foram tratados através da análise de conteúdos. A amostra em estudo foi constituída por
20 trabalhadores públicos afetos ao Gabinete Provincial de Saúde de Benguela.
Os resultados indicam no geral, que os trabalhadores apresentam maiores níveis de
satisfação profissional com a chefia e relação com os colegas de trabalho e insatisfação
com as dimensões salário e, remuneração e outros benefícios materiais.
A satisfação profissional dos trabalhadores parece exercer relevante influência sobre o
bem-estar dos mesmos. Relativamente às dimensões estudadas constatou-se que os
dados revelaram indícios de que embora a maioria dos entrevistados se encontre
satisfeito em relação as dimensões: satisfação com a instituição, natureza do trabalho,
atendimento aos utentes, relação com a chefia, relação com colegas de trabalho, bem com
material e condições de trabalho, também nos diz que existem níveis de insatisfação
consideráveis, relativamente as dimensões: promoção e oportunidades de crescimento
na carreira, formação em serviço, salário, remuneração e outros benefícios, assim com
autonomia e poder de decisão. Logo, torna-se importante a necessidade de prevenir esse
desgaste profissional, através da gestão adequada da instituição.

This study adopts a qualitative approach through the case study method, using an interview with semi-structured questions applied online. Data were treated through content analysis. The study sample consisted of 20 public workers from the Benguela Provincial Health Office. The results indicate, in general, that workers have higher levels of professional satisfaction with their leadership and relationship with co-workers and dissatisfaction with the dimensions of salary and remuneration and other material benefits. Workers' job satisfaction seems to exert a relevant influence on their well-being. Regarding the dimensions studied, it was found that the data showed evidence that although most respondents are satisfied with the dimensions: satisfaction with the institution, nature of work, service to users, relationship with the head, relationship with co-workers , as well as material and working conditions, also tells us that there are considerable levels of dissatisfaction, regarding the dimensions: promotion and career growth opportunities, in-service training, salary, remuneration and other benefits, as well as autonomy and decision-making power. Therefore, the need to prevent this professional exhaustion, through the proper management of the institution, becomes important.
