Abstract(s)
Nesta Dissertação é feita uma reflexão sobre ligações físicas e metodológicas na área da Arquitetura e da Música. Pretende-se sublinhar o valor de uma evolução coerente ao longo de um processo criativo, preservando a sua verdadeira essência. O Autor, o Intérprete, a Obra e o Recetor são os pilares que sustentam toda a pesquisa e organizam o trabalho.
Não existe apenas uma forma de alcançar um fim, cada indivíduo tem o seu próprio traço, a sua forma de estruturar pensamentos, assim sendo, um dos objetivos é evidenciar todo o conjunto de fatores que acaba por influenciar o processo de concretização e interpretação de uma ideia.
Os casos escolhidos para reflexão são exemplos claros e concretos que pretendem demonstrar a proximidade entre as duas artes. As analogias entre elas são constantes, Oscar Niemeyer é um exemplo muito rico que será concretamente explorado. A capital de Brasil, Brasília, é o caso de uma cidade construída de raiz que é exposta na vertente arquitetónica e musical.
Não se pretende seguir uma linha cronológica que permita relacionar acontecimentos, pois o objetivo é abordar um processo que acaba por ser bastante pessoal. Muitos outros casos surgirão para sustentar a importância de preservar os fundamentos de uma ideia.
Como a melhor forma de estabelecer uma ligação entre dois pontos nem sempre é em linha reta, há que perceber o caminho desta e saber tomar decisões. O conteúdo desta dissertação demonstrará os vários caminhos e dificuldades do artista no processo criativo, não com o intuito de assinalar um único percurso certo, mas sim, uma clareza nas possibilidades.
O Autor e o Recetor assumem nesta investigação o papel de extremos e todo o trabalho que aqui se desenvolve tem a finalidade de os aproximar.
This thesis is about a reflection on physical and methodological connections in the fields of Architecture and Music. It is intended to emphasize the value of a consistent trend over a creative process, preserving its true essence. The Author, the Interpreter, the Work and Receiver are the pillars that support the entire research and organize work. There is not just one way to achieve an end, each subject has its own trace, his own way to structure thoughts, therefore, one of the goals is to show the whole set of factors that ends up influence the process of realization and interpretation of an idea. The cases selected for reflection are clear and concrete examples that intend demonstrate the proximity between the two arts. The analogies between them will be constant, Oscar Niemeyer is a very rich example that will be particularly explored. The capital of Brazil, Brasilia, is the case of a city built from the ground that will be exposed in the architectural and musical aspect. Is not intended to follow a timeline that allows relate events since the goal is to approach a process that ends up being very personal. Many other cases will emerge to support the importance of preserving the foundations of an idea. As the best way to establish a connection between two points is not always straight, it is necessary to realize its way and know how to make decisions. The content of this thesis will demonstrate the various ways and difficulties in the artist's creative process, not in order to point out a single right path, but rather, a clarity of the possibilities. The Author and the Receiver in this investigation take on the role of extremes and all the work that is developed here is intended to approach them.
