Este projeto consiste na escrita de uma histĂłria de Banda Desenhada em seis livros, bem
como na elaboração, em desenho digital, do seu primeiro livro, percorrendo as vårias
fases do processo de criação, da ideia inicial à finalização da arte, passando pelo
desenvolvimento do enredo, da arte de conceito e do design de capa. O projeto engloba,
além do livro em papel, a realização do primeiro livro da narrativa em formato webcomic,
a publicar num website que publica digitalmente obras de banda desenhada. A obra
chama-se Cicatrizes.
Tratando-se de uma histĂłria que aborda temas como a violĂȘncia domĂ©stica e o luto, foi
crucial efetuar uma pesquisa aprofundada sobre os mesmos, recorrendo a profissionais
da ĂĄrea da psicologia que trabalham direta ou indiretamente com vĂtimas daquele
fenĂłmeno, de modo a garantir o necessĂĄrio realismo ao trabalho, contrastando
harmoniosamente com a vertente fantasiosa do modo como tudo Ă© apresentado ao leitor.
O trabalho foi desenvolvido com o intuito de ser publicado no website coreano Webtoons,
para que fique disponĂvel gratuitamente a um pĂșblico internacional mais vasto, estando
igualmente prevista uma versĂŁo impressa.
This project consists on the writing of a comic book story in five books, as well as the elaboration, in digital drawing, of its first book, going through the various phases of the creation process, from the initial idea to the completion of the art, through the development of the plot, concept art and cover design. The project includes, in addition to the paper book, the conception of the first book of the narrative in webcomic format, to be published on a website that digitally publishes comic books. The work is called Scars. As this is a story that addresses topics such as domestic violence and mourning, it was crucial to conduct a thorough research on them, using professionals in the field of psychology who work directly or indirectly with victims of that phenomenon, in order to ensure the necessary realism to the work, contrasting harmoniously with the fantasy aspect of the way everything is presented to the reader. The work was developed in order to be published on the Korean website Webtoons, so that it is available free of charge to a wider international audience, with a printed version also planned.
