Abstract(s)
a usam.
This work seeks the benefits of modular construction in contemporary society, which offers various forms of housing, and adapts to the need and functionalities required by them. Architects try to look for solutions to current problems through flexible constructions, minimalists and strategies that provide the realization and organization of spaces with quality of life. Japan is a country that faces several constraints in the construction, and its architecture is an example of building adaptable and flexible buildings, in minimum spaces, whether traditional or contemporary. After an investigation of Japanese microarchitecture strategies, it is intended to analyze several contemporary minimum dwellings found on the streets of Japan (kyosho-jutaku). Therefore, this study assists how it is possible to adapt this type of architecture to the needs of today's world. Persist in building a harmony with the surroundings, the junction of the past with the present and mainly pay attention to the people who use it. Stressing the importance of a sustainable architecture of the relationship that buildings must have with the surrounding, allowing the conservation of ecosystems. Finally, I will present ideas on how to adapt the concepts of flexibility, simplicity, sustainable and adaptable in a modular construction.
