Abstract(s)
This report presents a curricular internship lasting for 3 months that was developed within the curricular plan of the Master in Industrial Design. The activities developed throughout this stage were the scope of the technical preparation and change of functionality and aesthetics when necessary to prepare the product for physical production. In addition to this objective a number of tasks were developed to help with this preparation, including the development of a new product sheet, the development of a technical file that did not exist in the company, and the follow-up of the entire production process. These tasks were oriented with the objective of understanding the entire manufacturing process of this area and being integrated into a real world of work and company, having contact with all the participants, thus allowing me to gain more skills and to develop my work as a professional. This stage was carried out in compliance with expectations and all the tasks proposed were developed without major problems. This experience was positive and contributed a lot to the perception of what is a professional designer, the care to have and details to think about when conceiving a product, because the form cannot be superimposed on the function, because a dysfunctional product is not salable, but an unsightly one also does not, however functional it may be.
