Abstract(s)
Portugal é por excelência, um destino para a prática de Turismo de Natureza, contendo um vasto e riquíssimo património natural. O monte da Senhora do Bom Sucesso, é um local onde a paisagem circundante emerge, tendo várias Serras ao seu redor, como a Serra da Estrela, a Serra de Montemuro e a Serra do Caramulo, bem como a fauna e flora típica da região. Toda a história do local, remete para um determinado período do passado, tornando-o valorizado e capaz de tornar ainda melhor a experiência que se pode ter através do Turismo de Natureza. Sendo um dos locais a uma cota mais elevada da região centro, torna o sítio para muitas pessoas, um local especial de relaxamento. No Monte da Senhora do Bom Sucesso, há centenas de anos atrás, existiam entre 80 a 100 habitações de povos antigos e em particular de uma cultura celta. Posteriormente, devido ao abandonado pelos Homens, que nelas tinham a sua vida e quotidiano, rapidamente entraram em desuso e decadência, as paredes e telhados ruíram, tornando os percursos intransitáveis e o local coberto de vegetação.
O ponto inicial deste projeto parte do aproveitamento do existente e implantação de novas infraestruturas para a elaboração de um Parque de Ecoturismo em torno de todo o Monte da Senhora do Bom Sucesso, classificado como Monumento Nacional, apelando à conservação do Património Arqueológico, assumindo não só um cariz utópico mas também de provocação. Com isto, o Turismo de Natureza prevalece no projeto e assume-se no local com a enorme paisagem e elevada diversidade de habitats naturais, com condições que permitam a realização de programas, dando assim uso àquele passado com património e cultura, rejuvenescendo, e reutilizando, reatribuindo-lhe funções e atividades, associando a uma fonte de dinamização social e de rendimento económico, através do turismo rural, potenciando estes espaços.
Habitar e viver o espaço é a ‘’chave’’, aproveitando as ruínas existentes e poder “tranportá-las” para a atualidade a partir do centro cultural e interpretativo em harmonia com as novas habitações temporárias, não esquecendo todas as mais-valias para a funcionalidade das mesmas, inerentes às práticas a serem desenvolvidas e a associação de infraestruturas de apoio com caráter de encontro à natureza e à sua paisagem.
Portugal is, by excellence, a destination for the practice of Nature Tourism, containing a vast and rich natural patrimony. The Monte da Senhora do Bom Sucesso is a place where the surrounding landscape emerges among the several hills around it, like Serra da Estrela, Serra de Montemuro and Serra do Caramulo, as well as the typical fauna and flora of the region. The whole history of the place refers to a certain period of the past, valuing it and also making it possible to improve the experience that one can have, through Nature Tourism. Being one of the places at a higher elevation of the center region, it becomes a place of special relaxation for many people. Hundreds of years ago existed, in this place, between 80 and 100 dwellings of ancient peoples and, particularly, settlements of a Celtic culture. Subsequently, due to the abandonment, these housing structures quickly became disused and decayed, with the consequent ruin of walls and roofs, making the roads impossible to go through and the place covered with vegetation. The starting point of this project was the utilization of the already existing and the implantation of new infrastructures, for the elaboration of a eco tourism park around the Monte da Senhora do Bom Sucesso, classified as a National Monument, appealing to the conservation of the Archaeological Heritage, assuming not only a utopian aspect but also provocation. With this, Nature Tourism prevails in the project and assumes itself with the enormous landscape and high diversity of natural habitats, providing the conditions that allow the realization of diverse programs. It is, then, possible to use that past, with patrimony and culture, rejuvenating and reusing it, reassigning functions and activities associated with a source of social and economic dynamization, thus enhancing these spaces through rural tourism. This way, occupying and living is the “key”, taking advantage of existing ruins and the power to “transport” them into the presente day from the cultural and interpretative center, in harmony with the new temporary dwellings, not forgetting all the added value for their inherent functionality to the practices to be developed, and the association of support infrastructures with character accordingly to its nature and landscape.
