| dc.description.abstract | O presente artigo pretende ser um encontro entre metodologias e diretrizes pedagógicas para o Ensino Superior e a docência em licenciaturas de formação artística, mais especificamente, na área de Cinema. Habitualmente lecionados por antigos profissionais ou investigadores da área, sem uma formação pedagógica que os/as prepare para a exposição pública inerente à atividade de docente, nem tão pouco para a sistematização de conteúdos adequados ao corpo discente, estes cursos são também frequentados por alunos/as com necessidades, expectativas e referências heterogéneas, tornando particularmente necessários o debate e a reflexão sobre modelos e técnicas a aplicar em aula. No caso de estudo que aqui se apresenta, a regência da unidade curricular de História e Estética do Cinema Português, na Universidade da Beira Interior, atribui o mote a uma breve dissertação em torno de objetivos e metodologias com potencialidade de adaptação à formação de futuros/as cineastas. A tentativa de equilíbrio das vertentes teórica e prática, bem como a necessidade de preparação para o mercado de trabalho – no qual, por tratar-se de uma disciplina de final de curso, alunos e alunas irão previsivelmente entrar nos meses seguintes – têm ditado a evolução da experiência, permitindo-nos chegar a algumas conclusões sobre novos modelos educativos e a sua aplicação ao Ensino Artístico. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The present article aims to merge two fields of expertise. The methodologies and pedagogical guidelines for Higher Education with the teaching in artistic degrees, more specifically in Cinema Studies. Usually taught by former professionals or researchers of the field, without pedagogical training that prepares them for the public exposure that the teaching activity demands, neither for the systematization of contents appropriate to the students, these courses are also attended by students with heterogeneous needs, expectations and references, making particularly necessary the debate and reflection about the models and techniques to be applied in class. In the case study here presented, the regency of the “History and Aesthetics of Portuguese Cinema” course at the University of Beira Interior assigns the motto to a brief dissertation about the objectives and methodologies that can be adapted in the training of future filmmakers. The attempt to balance the theoretical and practical variants, as well as the need to prepare the students for the job market – where, since it is an end-of-course discipline, they are expected to enter in the following months after the course graduation – have made it mandatory for the experience to evolve, allowing us to arrive at some conclusions about new educational models and their application to the Artistic Teaching. | pt_PT |
